YOGA and the VOICE                                                                                                    Saraswati Karuna – Anna                                                                                                                      Using the principles of Yoga with simple Asana, Breath and Awareness we will gently nurture ourselves tounderstand and enable the voice to feel more comfortable. Leaving us with more freedom to Speak, Hum, Chant or Sing

 CHANTING & MANTRA – *AJAPA JAPA  (maximum of 10 participants)                     Saraswati Karuna –Anna                                                                                                                          An intensive but gentle day in MOUNA (instrospective silence), beginning at 6.00am and finishing at 8.00 pm                                                                                                                                                      The day is intended as a ‘luxury’ to be able to spend quality time in extended practice               Ideal for those who are already have a personal practice, as well as for those who would like to    experience such a special time with a view to developing their own practice.                                     If you are struggling emotionally, psychologically or with health issues it is probably too intense for you.                                                                                                                                                              There is opportunity to take time out to talk- with Anna but not to other participants (so as not to disturb theirexperience)                                                                                                                          During the time of personal practice drinks will be brought to you, as long as you remain within the agreedparameters of the room/s and parks outside.                                                                                If you do not have a Mala there will be lovely selection of crystal Malas available to purchase.     The day outline:                                                                                                                                                                                                                       6.00am Introduction and quiet contemplation on a Mantra of choice or your own personal Manta

6.30am  A practical yoga class

7.30am  Pranayama

7.50am  Chanting of the Gayatri Mantra (x 54) followed by Nirvana Shaktam

8.15am  Meditation

8.45am  Breakfast – bring your own see suggestions

9.30am Resting

10.00am  Introduction to using a Mala.                                                                                                    Personal practice with a Mala.  Sitting, lying, walking inside and outside in the parks if it is fine.

1.00pm  Ayurvedic Lunch and Karma Yoga

 2.00pm  Continued practice. 

 3.00pm  Yoga Nidra

 4.00pm  Continued practice

  6.00pm  Light supper and Karma Yoga

  7.00pm  Chanting

  7.45pm  Grounding and refelction on the day

              8.00pm  Time to Go

YOGA and DANCE                                                                                                                   Natya Rupa – Sharon Mayfield  (                                                Using the Principles of Yoga with simple Asana, Breath and Awareness  Natya will lead you through simple yoga like movements (or movements in a yoga like manner?) to enable you to move your body to carefully selected music in a way which is flowing, graceful and nourishing.  She is a very experienced and considerate teacher of Yoga and Meditation as well as being a dancer and dance teacher.

YOGA and YANTRA                                                                                                              Swami Atma                                                                                                                                            A day of Yoga in which the qualities and beauty of ‘Yantra’ (symbols) will be explored along with their potential for use in our  yoga practice and daily life.  A day with the very compassionate and experienced Swami Atma, a long standing resident of the Mandala Yoga Ashram.

YOGA PHILOSOPHY and the BHAGAVAD GITA                                                                 Swami Krishnapremananda                                                                                                                A day of yoga in which the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and their relevance in our daily lives and yoga practice will be brought to us by Swami Krishnapremananda – a very experienced and inspiring teacher. A long standing resident and Acting Director of the Mandala Yoga Ashram. 

NADA YOGA        David Rajesh and Upasana                                                                              A second visit from Rajesh and Upasana where the qualities of the yoga of sound will be explored and experienced.  There will also be a concert on the same/previous/following evening.
